I'm Micaela Vega (pronounced mi-KAY-la), web designer and the founder & owner of Vega Star Design. I help inclusive and diverse creatives and changemakers confidently create their websites.

With over 20 years of experience in the web design industry, I can help you with your next project. I'm a Squarespace Web Designer in Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN (The "Twin Cities"), and I happily work remotely with clients worldwide.

MY “WHY”

A multitude of my life experiences have shaped my business mission and beliefs.

I grew up in a household with my immigrant grandparents, experiencing a multigenerational upbringing in the United States. I witnessed the joys and struggles my grandparents experienced in their later years. As a result, I developed empathy and respect for different people's unique perspectives and experiences.

As a young adult, I had a fantastic and fun experience in the performing arts as an actor. I learned about the diverse communities that support artistry and the business of being a performing artist. At the same time, I worked for public entities whose mission was to serve people. With this experience, I sharpened my business knowledge and insight.

In addition, over 20 years ago, I switched to a web design career (pre-Y2K!) after observing society's direction with this Internet thing. 😊 And now, I love helping others build their businesses by creating brilliant websites that authentically represent you, your voice, and the business you've made.
